Smarty Hardy Village Ambulance

The Smarty Hardy Village Ambulance is designed primarily for transporting sick or injured person in the rural areas to medical centres. The detachable stretcher, suspended in shock-absorbers, provides the patient with a comfortable place to lie while being transported.

Depending on the terrain, the ambulance can be operated by 1 to 3 persons. On hard surface roads one driver is sufficient but in difficult terrain 3 persons are required. When operated by 3 persons the ambulance can negotiate terrain which is beyond any motorised 4x4, thereby enabling short-cuts through very difficult terrain directly to the medical facility – saving crucial time for the patient.
